Two Adaptive Sports Foundations with Heart!
The High Fives & Sisters in Sports Foundations are two nonprofit organizations that have supported me since my snowboarding accident in February 2020 at the age of 23. Both are on a mission to provide hope and resources for athletes from all walks of life. Supporting people and helping them get back to their outdoor physical activity of choice.
On Saturday, October 18 th , 2025, the Las Vegas Golf Club will be hosting a charity golf event to raise money for High Fives & Sisters in Sports Athletes, including our very own, Shelby Estocado, the daughter of “Maui’s Hawaiian Cowboy”, Danny Estocado.

Stand Up and Play foundation
We’re honored to have Anthony Netto, founder of the Stand Up and Play Foundation, joining us at our Golf Fundraiser. A true pioneer in adaptive sports, Anthony co-invented the VertaCat/Paragolfer all-terrain standing sports wheelchair in 2000 and established the Stand Up and Play Foundation in 2010.
In 2023, he achieved yet another milestone by co-founding and developing the VertaCat, a revolutionary adaptive golf cart that’s empowering athletes of all abilities to stand up and play.
We’re thrilled to have a few VertaCats on the course, giving our adaptive athletes the opportunity to play in the game they love with greater freedom and independence.
